Mental Health in Medicine Survey
An international survey that was distributed amongst doctors working in internal medicine and related specialties in July and August 2019. Are we asking our patients about psychiatric diagnoses and mental health symptoms and does the admission documentation support us in doing so?
There has been an amazing response from doctors in at least 10 countries and more than 100 different hospitals.
Preliminary results were presented at the Society of Acute Medicine conference in Harrogate in October 2019. The full report has been submitted for publication.
