Post Stroke Emotionalism – when uncontrolled crying is not depression

This is an interesting case report that was published in the Primary Care Companion for CNS disorders. [1]

The authors describe a case of Post Stroke Emotional Incontinence, a rare sequelae of a stroke that can be confused with depression. Diagnosis and therapeutic interventions are discussed.
